Using this site & the audit

BLAYER is an early-stage company and BrainB is its first product, in development. These terms cover using this site and requesting a free close audit. They're written plainly, not as boilerplate — if anything is unclear, email hello@useblayer.com.

You can send us last month's close checklist and a trial balance export — anonymised if you prefer. We review them and send back what looks unreconciled, unsupported, or unusual, with a source for each item.

It's a preparation aid, offered free with no commitment. It doesn't touch your systems, move money, post journal entries, or sign off on anything. You review every finding and decide what to do.

BrainB prepares and flags; it doesn't replace your judgement, your controller, or your auditor. Nothing we send is accounting, audit, tax, or legal advice, and you remain responsible for your own books, filings, and controls.

Use a work email and send only files you're authorised to share. Don't send credentials or live system access — we don't ask for them and don't want them. You're responsible for anything you act on based on a finding.

This is beta software from a company that isn't yet incorporated with insurance. The site and the audit are provided as-is, without warranties, and may change or pause while we build. To the extent the law allows, BLAYER isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the free audit or this site.

How we handle what you send is described on the privacy page. In short: we use it to run your audit and understand who the product is for, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
